Birth of Lilou - Puget Sound Birth Center, Kirkland, Wa

After a morning full of inconsistent patterned contractions, the contractions finally intensified but remained slightly inconsistent, so Amelia and Ryan decided to come in to the Puget Sound Birth Center. After a bit of laboring at the birth center Amelia opted to have her water broken with the hope it would help speed things along. And it worked! Only 9 minutes after her midwife broke her water, Lilou was born in the tub!

Lilou Kay made her grand entrance as the grand finale for their family on a sunny summer morning. She joins her family with 3 big sisters and 1 oldest brother. Her two oldest siblings came in just after her birth to meet her and it couldn’t have been more special. They both took turn after turn holding her and couldn’t stop staring at their cute littlest sister. Her name honors 4 of her great grandparents (3 great grandmothers, and 1 great grandfather). Welcome Lilou!!!
